The food was delicious and the portions more than enough! Tammy and the rest of the staff were so friendly. We will be back.
Had a great first experience at the Square Cafe for lunch today. Looking forward to going back on a Thursday night and enjoying live music and dinner.
Walked in, special tonight menu board boasted lamb chops, but they weren't thawed, and was told they would take a "long long, really long time". The waiter said that the owner was going to come in and prep the Lamb, but he wasn't there yet (after 5pm when we arrived.) Changed my order to the 4 piece catfish dinner with loaded baked potato and salad, but the fish plate wasn't supposed to come with salad, it came with 2 sides, and a salad wasn't a side. However, all entrees came with a side and a salad. Anywho... The hush puppies were raw in the middle, and the fish had no taste. My husband ordered the spicy shrimp Alfredo, and refused to eat the pasta and sauce. Father ordered spicy fries and got plain fries. Asked to speak with the owner, but he didn't arrive before we left. We love their hot lunch plates, but have decided we would not be back for dinner. Only gave it 2 stars because we had an appetizer, salad and my potato that we're decent.
I frequently dine in and it's an awesome experience each time. The food is excellent each time I've visited. Service is excellent as well. I give Square Cafe ten thumbs up.
Cajun pasta good but a bit pricey. Salad bar nothing exciting. Server was great, very prompt, polite & friendly.
