What a great experience! We're from out of town. Sat in bar area. Pretty busy. Michelle took great care of us. We had appetizers, drinks, and got a steak. Made perfectly! She set a great atmosphere for all of us patrons. We made new friends in the south. Will definitely stop off here when we travel thru again. Thanks Chilis! Michelle is my fave southern bartender by far.
The service was good. There were several servers who came regularly to check on us. The food was warm and at an edible temperature but not hot when it arrived. We were able to redeem a coupon for an appetizer which saved us $7... That was a plus. The express pay at the kiosk at the table was a plus. I'm sure we will go back- I'll be sure to bring a bigger coat in case it's cold inside again.
I would like to tell and share with you about the food, the drinks but I can only tell and share with you about the service or lack thereof. We walked in and told the hostess party of two please. She asked booth or table? Booth please and she walked us to our table. Pleasant enough so far then it stopped. We sat down at the less than clean table and bench seats of our booth and then began to notice the annoyed and bewildered looks upon the two other tables also with two people. Behind us the man no less than 5 times turns around to look at the kitchen. The other table the people had finished their drinks and were simply waiting for the server to return to take their order. No server around in our area but everyone else in Chili's had a busy server, food on the tables and full drinks. After 9 mins and 58 sec (yes I kept track due to a phone call I was on) a girl comes by our table as she passing it says I will be right back. She goes to the other table with the bewildered looks to tell them I'm sorry but it will be a few more min. Then back by us to the back she goes to not be seen for the next 5 min. I cannot tell you when she reappeared due to the fact we left. If I'm gonna waste time I can think of a better way. I've been a server many times in many places through the years so I am not over critical on my reviews because it can be a rough tough job to deal with. This was bad folks, just bad.
Waitress need more training. Drinks didn't come till food came. Food was only appetizers. Drinks were only tea. Only saving grace was the bartender was good and the manager took care of the food bill for the very poor service.

The whole restaurant seems poorly managed and lacking in team work . Surely coming in after a weekend rush explains why the restaurant seems so dirty. Pay attention to others dining if they seem to be looking around almost as if they are staring. Its because no one is getting food.
