Sundays are the days for visiting.
such a peaceful place and welcoming community. i always feel so refreshed after participating in a day of mindfulness.
Magnolia Grove the newest of four Zen Buddhist centers in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh (the others are Deer Park in California; Blue Cliff in New York; and Plum Village in France). The monastics there are incredibly welcoming and kind. If you are interested in Buddhism; if you want to try some really tasty vegan food; or if you're stressed or hurting and want to learn some simple and practical techniques for self care, you should definitely visit.
What a gem. I had such a lovely experience here filled with such warmth and joy being around all of the monastics and fellow retreatants. The meditation hall is stunning, as is the bell tower, lotus pond, statue of Quanyin and the wonderful statue and garden for Thay and MLK. I just felt at home here and can't wait to come back to deepen my practice. I recommend everyone to come here and just breath and let go.
