This clinic is Awesome! The vets & their staff are amazing. I wouldn't take my cats to anyone else! My Oscar (kitty) had his leg amputated yesterday. I wasn't sure how he would be. They reassured me he would be fine. He came home today & is doing quite well. They are very dedicated to their patients. A huge thank you to all of you that took care of Oscar! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all!
Wonderful pet hospital!! Great people! They even sent Mr. Wynfrey a get well soon card!

Great, caring staff
So this past morning I drive over to Batesville to pick him up. I walk into the front and as usual the employee at the front desk is as kind as can be. She tells me it will be just a few minutes before he is ready. I say, "ok", considering I am in no serious hurry. 24 minutes later the lady comes out and brings my dog. He is wet and smells as if he just had a "half ass" bath. I find it odd that he had a bath considering they did not charge me for one and I specifically told them I did not want them to give him a bath. (He had a bath planned already at another location upon pickup) I remind the lady who brought my dog out that I had sent him with his bed and his blanket. She says, "ok, let me go grab them". The lady returns empty handed and tells me, "his bed and blanket are dirty and we are washing them for you". That would be great and all but my wife and I are religious when it comes to washing our animals bed, blanket, or even toys. So, I say, "well where is his bed?" She replies, "it is in the back not in the washer yet". I ask her to grab his bed for me and let me see it. I tell her, "even if there is a little urine on it thats ok". I said this because I was suspicious about something going on when he came out half way bathed and a "dirty bed and blanket". The lady brings out my dogs bed in a trash bag. The bed is drenched in urine that ammonia causes my eyes to water and I can see urine pooling in the bottom corner of the trash bag that she brought his bed out in. THIS IS WHEN I KNEW THEY WERE IN THE WRONG. I grab my dog, his bed, and we get in the car to drive away. The smell is so bad that I had to roll my windows down just to with stand the smell. At this point I am beginning to put all the pieces together. I begin to call around to friends of mine who are Veterinarians and Vet Techs. I tell them my story and they confirm my worst fears. I was told by multiple people that either A) he had not been let out for a day or even longer and had urinated his bed several times B) he could have been forgotten out about by staff C) he is sick. I thought point B) to be impossible until I was told that the big dogs stay in a separate area of the building then the other dogs or cats. Needless to say, he had peed his bed quite a few times. I had that same bed for over 2 years and never once had he EVER peed on his bed. Dogs do not pee in or on their beds unless it is the last resort and they cannot hold it anymore. To point C, I signed a release for you to treat him if he is sick. If you had bothered to notice that he was peeing on his bed why did you not call to run test? Because, you did not notice and because you did not check.. I know he was not taken care of and "Family Pet Hospital" did not hold up their end of the deal. My wife went back to talk to the veterinarian later in the afternoon and he had magical answers for everything. "My dog was wet because it was raining out," he said. Does this guy think I am an idiot? I know what a wet dog smells like and a dog that had a little soap thrown on them smells like. (If you are a dog person you know exactly what I am talking about) The vet also told my wife, "he spilled his water bowl on his bed, thats what a majority of the moisture is". And here we go again, does this guy really think I am that big of an idiot? I see dark yellow urine pooling in the bottom of a garbage bag that somehow was not absorbed by tempurpedic material in his bed. That material is extremely absorbent and the fact there was so much urine the material was to the point of saturation is a complete disgrace. So not only does this guy think my wife is an idiot he also does not try to rectify the situation. The Vet ask my wife, "have you gotten a urine panel done?" No, because up until that point he had never peed on his bed, except the time before while being boarded at your clinic a few months prior. Also, do I look like a vet? No. I would leave that decision up to but being you did not notice.....? Systematic failure across the board at this clinic. P.S.- My dogs lab results are all clear.
they are great and wonderful people who truly care about your fur babies.
